Who Is Jesus?

The Gospel

God loves you and created you to have a personal relationship with Him. But all of us have sinned and fall short of His perfect standard (Romans 3:23), which separates us from God, who is holy and perfect. The punishment for sin is death, yet because God loves us, He provided a way for us not to be separated from Him for eternity.

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life, die on the cross taking the punishment of death He did not deserve for our sins, and rise again, conquering sin and death (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Through Jesus, we are offered forgiveness and eternal life—not because of anything we can earn, but as a free gift received by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

When we confess our sins, repent, and put our trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are reconciled to God and receive His Spirit to guide us (Romans 10:9-10; Acts 2:38).

This is the good news: anyone who believes in Jesus can be forgiven, restored, and enjoy eternal life with God.

The Truth

Describe the verse of “you were once a slave to sin” in how we NEED Jesus and he frees us from that punishment.

He Is God

A short description of the benefit.

"All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved."
